The Cornell International Affairs Society (CIAS) invites application for the tenth Iteration of Cornell International Affairs Conference (CIAC X). CIAS is a place for undergraduate students to develop their passion for global engagement. In each successive years, the CIAC continues to grow and has become the 4th best collegiate conference in the country.

CIAS offers students from all backgrounds the chance to develop public speaking skills, practice diplomacy, as well as build confidence within a supportive community. To do so, CIAS organizes the annual general meeting, where the members participate in discussing the current issues. Further, it also organizes collegiate Model United Nations circuit, sending delegations to local, regional, and international conferences each semester. CIAS hosts two annual Model UN conferences. It includes the Cornell International Affairs Conference (CIAC) and the Cornell Model United Nations Conference (CMUNC). CIAC is a rapidly growing collegiate conference in its tenth session. While CMUNC is one of the largest high school conferences in the Northeast. It draws over six hundred delegates and advisers from around the world.

Given its massive growth and persistent improvement in every aspect of the conference, the CIAC X aims to become the most enjoyable conferences in MUN experience. Further, CIAC X implements numerous committees that take advantage of both the international moment and creative takes on entertaining topics happening around the world. Thus, CIAC X will have an extremely engaging environment. Also, CIAC X will have committees suited for veteran delegates and new ones alike. This is in part of CIAC’s initiative to create an accessible ivy-league conference and offer a positive experience for all MUN delegates.
