Fully Funded Scholarship in London is LMS international studentship for the PhD level. These studentships provide a generous stipend, tuition fees and bench fees for 3.5 years. This programme is designed for students who have a clear idea of the field in which they wish to work and who have solid laboratory or research experience. It provides the opportunity to undertake a PhD project that will make a novel contribution to scientific knowledge and understanding. Each studentship focuses on its own unique research project within one of our multiple research groups.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold, or expect to obtain, a first or upper second-class honors degree or equivalent in an appropriate scientific subject from a recognized academic institution. Whilst a master’s degree is preferable, it is not essential.
All applicants should ensure they also meet the Imperial College Entry Requirements, including the English Language Requirement.
Whilst the funding for these studentships is open to students worldwide, funding for overseas students is more restricted. For this reason, only exceptional overseas students will be considered.
Application and interview process
All applications will be viewed by all recruiting supervisors. If you are invited to interview, you will have the opportunity to meet with multiple supervisors to discuss their projects in detail before selecting the ones you wish to be considered for.
The interview process is a two-day event that takes place in London and all applicants should ensure they are available to attend both days.
Interviews will take place at the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences, Hammersmith Hospital, W12 0NN on Thursday 24 & Friday 25 January 2019.
