CRRF National Anti-Racism Fund 2024/2025 (up to $125,000)

Since its launch in 2022, the National Anti-Racism Fund has awarded nearly $8 million to over 400 organizations across Canada. In this upcoming round of funding, they will provide $2 million in grant funding towards anti-racism projects in Canada.

The Fund is dedicated to supporting projects that address systemic racism in Canada by promoting community-informed, evidence-based research and data. It aims to inform public policy and foster cross-cultural dialogue, awareness, and collaboration regarding race and religion in the country. The Fund welcomes innovative and creative approaches to combating racism, encouraging diverse initiatives. Previous projects supported by the NARF have included art initiatives, educational programs, advocacy campaigns, and various support initiatives. By funding these projects, the Fund seeks to enhance accessibility and availability of resources that promote understanding and inclusivity in Canadian society.

Eligibility for Anti-Racism Fund

• Open to Canadian registered charity, non-profit, First Nations, Inuit, Métis organization, public institution, or labor organization.

Application

Applicants seeking funding for projects that will take place between April 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 11:59 pm (EST) on October 31, 2024. Successful EOI applicants will be contacted by late November 2024 and will be invited to submit full applications. Applicants will have 5-6 weeks to submit their full application between late November 2024 and early January 2025.
