EPFL Life Sciences Summer Research Program 2025 in Switzerland (Fully Funded)
The EPFL Life Sciences Summer Research Program is a prestigious, fully-funded two-month internship held from July 7th to August 28th, 2025. Open to undergraduate and Master’s students worldwide, the program offers participants the chance to conduct research projects in Life Sciences, guided by experienced mentors. No IELTS is required, and there is no application fee. EPFL will select 20-25 students for this program. Applicants from other fields of study can also apply for different EPFL Summer Programs, such as the EPFL Excellence Research Internship or the EPFL Summer Internship. This is an incredible opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in one of the world’s leading research institutions.

Eligibility for Summer Research
- The EPFL Life Sciences Summer Program is open to all the Nationals.
- Open to students in biology, biophysics, chemistry, bioengineering, bioinformatics, quantitative biology, and related fields.
- Be currently enrolled in a university and have completed at least two years of undergraduate study or the first year of a master’s degree program by the start of the program.
- Recent graduates (within one year of completing their Bachelor’s degree) are also eligible, especially if they are actively pursuing a Master’s degree in a life science-related field or planning a career in life sciences.
- While diverse life science backgrounds are welcome, applicants should have a solid foundation in core life science subjects, including cell biology and biotechnology.
- IELTS is not required.

- The explanation of 3 lab choices (2-3 sentences per lab)
- University transcript or school official list of classes and grades
- Two letters of recommendation
- Basic life sciences understanding is essential; previous lab experience is a plus point.
