The Director, Growth, Data, Informatics and Analytical Solutions (DIAS) will play a critical role in building on the successes of Palladium to seek out strategic opportunities to grow the DIAS businesses and continue to win business from existing clients. The Director will work the DIAS team to co-develop a long-term vision and strategy for the practice, and to lead as a champion on business development for DIAS within the US, and with other regions and business units as they explore growth and integration of DIAS offerings in their businesses. Specific responsibilities as the Director, Growth, DIAS include:
Help shape the Americas’ Business Partnership’s DIAS offerings, including advising on client needs and development of new offerings in ICT, M&E, modelling and other DAIS offerings;
Develop solutions that can be marketed to existing and new US clients to firmly establish Palladium as the US and global thought leaders in the DIAS field;
Support business growth ensuring compelling, innovative technical approaches are conveyed in capture and proposal development of key opportunities;
Provide technical leadership to drive the state of the practice in DIAS, ensuring professional visibility for the organization and represent the organization and its brand at the highest level to clients and partners;
Coordinate with internal and external communications to ensure DIAS is appropriately featured and represented in social, traditional and other media in clear, targeted messages.
Requirements
The role will report to the Americas’ Managing Partner, with the following reporting requirements:
A monthly management report outlining progress towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as any other important areas of concern (format to be determined)
Any other reporting and management deliverables as requestedEducation and experience required
Relevant master’s degree
Knowledge of, and familiarity with, US Government decision-maker networks in health informatics, economic growth and/or other relevant technical experience in DIAS areas
Demonstrated understanding of global DIAS area trends and expertise in working with governments, non-profit organizations, and the private sector
Minimum of 10 years of relevant high level technical and business development experience
A proven track record of winning USG business (USAID preferred)
Prior experience living in or working in a developing countryKey competencies and professional expertise required
In-depth and expert knowledge of DIAS-related sectors within the industry we operate in
Sound problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership, management, and people skills
Sound business development and client relationship management skills;
Strong data analytics and data visualization skills
Proven skills in formulation of project proposals, budgets, and reports
Willingness to travel and work away from the office (up to 25%) in developing countries and elsewhere.
