Fully Funded Hubei Government Scholarship in China
The Hubei Government Scholarship 2025-2026 is a highly esteemed fully funded opportunity for international students planning to study in China. Established by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, this fund totals 35 million yuan (roughly US$5 million). Scholarships of up to 40,000 yuan (about US$5,700) are awarded to each recipient, making it one of the most generous programs available.

Benefits of Hubei Government
- The undergraduate Scholarship is 10,000 per year;
- Graduate Scholarship is 15,000 RMB per year;
- The doctorate scholarship is 20,000 RMB per year;
- General Scholar Scholarship is 5,000 RMB per 6 months or 10,000 per year;
- Advanced Scholar Scholarship (including visiting scholars, similarly hereinafter) is 10,000 per 6 months or 20,000 per year.

Eligibility
- Required Languages: The applicant must show language skills based on the needs of the academic programs. This is decided by each higher learning institution.
- Eligible Countries: All World Countries except Chinese citizens.
- Applicants should be foreign citizens with valid passports and, should be friendly to China.
- Applicants should be well-behaved, hardworking, grade excellent and in good health.
- Undergraduate scholarship applicants should be around 25 years old. They must have a degree equal to a Chinese High School Degree or higher.
- Graduate Scholarship applicants should be within an average of 30 years old and have obtained a bachelor’s degree.
- Doctorate Scholarship applicants should be around 35 years old and must have a master’s degree.
- All General Scholar Scholarship applicants should be around 40 years old. Chinese language scholars must have a Higher School Degree or higher. Professional scholars need a bachelor’s degree or higher. They can also be university students in their second year or above.
- Advanced Scholar Scholarship applicants must have a master’s degree or higher. They should also hold the title of associate professor or higher. The average age of applicants should be around 50 years old.
- Applicants do not obtain any financial aid from the Chinese government or other organizations.
- Meeting entry requirements of the applied university and program.
