Statutory and Trust Funding Manager position is available in RedR UK.
The Statutory and Trust Funding Manager will be responsible for developing relationships and securing funding from statutory donors and trust and foundations. You will work with Colleagues within the Programme, Finance and Fundraising & Communications Departments, the wider organisation, RedR Supporters and a range of contacts from partner organisations across the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- To be familiar with RedR projects and identify those which will attract significant financial support from Statutory and Trusts sources
- Research these potential funders thoroughly, identifying connections and interests
- Together with senior staff members in RedR UK develop relationships with potential and current funders ensuring they are motivated to support RedR.
- Draft and submit project bids and applications, working closely with the programme team to ensure their projects are correctly represented.
- Keep in close contact with the programmes team with regard to project deliverables and communications with funders
- Report on the success of our projects; meeting funder requirements, crafting narrative and financial project reports and telling great stories of human impact.
- Oversee and support programmes teams to communicate RedR’s organisational and country strategies to donors and all other stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Track record of securing, successfully managing and reporting on six/seven figure grants from Statutory and Trusts sources.
- Knowledge of key institutional and private funders, their funding interests and reporting requirements
- Bring a network of contacts from across the Humanitarian Sector
- Able and comfortable in working at both strategic and operational level
- Proven experience of preparing and managing budgets
- Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- Proven experience of preparing and managing narrative proposals and reports for a variety of humanitarian donors
- Excellent IT skills, specifically in MS Office and database management
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organisation and externally
- Confidence and ability to represent RedR externally including public speaking as necessary
- An enterprising, creative, goal-orientated and can-do-attitude
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally, sometimes to difficult/insecure locations for up to 25% of the time
- Fluency in spoken and written English and preferably in another UN official language
