
As a Communication Analyst with UNDP Haiti in Port-au-Prince, I lead strategic advocacy and outreach initiatives to amplify sustainable development efforts across the country. By crafting impactful narratives, managing stakeholder engagement, and leveraging multimedia platforms, I support UNDP’s mission to drive resilience, governance, and inclusive growth in Haiti—ensuring local and global audiences understand the transformative impact of our programs.
Strategic Communication & Advocacy:
Develop and implement a communication strategy for PBF-funded projects.
Produce awareness materials (press releases, brochures, briefing notes) and document best practices.
Administrative & Financial Management:
Draft annual work plans, monitor budgets, and ensure timely project implementation.
Coordinate procurement, audits, and reporting in compliance with UNDP standards.
Project Coordination & Supervision:
Lead cross-agency collaboration (UNOPS, government, civil society).
Recruit and oversee project staff/consultants, ensuring capacity building and synergy.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Update results-based tools, track deliverables, and mitigate risks.
Prepare technical/financial reports and ensure visibility for donors and partners.

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication, public relations, political science, or related social sciences.
OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2 additional years of relevant experience.
2 years (with Master’s) or 4 years (with Bachelor’s) of experience in communication for an international organization or national institution.
Experience in community violence reduction, peacebuilding, or community dialogue programs.
Strong writing & content development (reports, press releases, articles).
Experience in communication for development projects, preferably PBF-funded.
Strategic communication on peacebuilding, conflict prevention, or violence reduction.
Proficiency in graphic design/video editing tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, Final Cut).
Event management, media relations, and awareness campaigns.
Knowledge of communication monitoring & evaluation tools.
Ability to work with UN agencies, government, civil society, and media.
Social media & digital communication strategies.
Multimedia content production (videos, infographics, photography).
Understanding of Haiti’s socio-political and security context.
Fluent in French & Haitian Creole (written & spoken).
Intermediate English (preferred).
Not required, but relevant training in communication, peacebuilding, or project management is a plus.
