The Gates Scholarship 2025 – Fully Funded College Opportunity for High-Achieving Students
The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar, full-ride scholarship created by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It supports exceptional high school seniors from low-income, minority backgrounds across the United States, helping them fully cover the cost of attending a four-year college or university.
What You’ll Receive

Who Qualifies
- U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents
- High school seniors with Pell Grant eligibility
- Minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale
- Belong to underrepresented ethnic groups: African American, Hispanic American, Asian & Pacific Islander, and/or American Indian/Alaska Native
- Plan to enroll full-time at an accredited, non-profit, U.S. undergraduate institution
