SVRI Forum 2026 – Young Professionals Programme (YPP) in Bangkok
The SVRI Forum Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is now accepting applications for the SVRI Forum 2026, scheduled for 5–9 October 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. Designed to empower early-career practitioners and researchers focused on violence against women and children (VAW/VAC), this programme offers mentorship, financial support, and enhanced visibility on the global stage.
Who Should Apply?
- Early-career professionals aged 35 or under (born 1990 or later)
- Working in fields related to VAW/VAC or gender-based violence
- Planning to submit an abstract to SVRI Forum 2026
- Motivated to develop their research presentation skills and engage with global experts
What’s New for 2026?
For the first time, YPP introduces a pre-abstract mentoring phase:
- 4–6 participants will receive targeted guidance before formal abstract submission
- Mentorship from experienced professionals to refine ideas, methodologies, and abstracts
- Emphasis on strengthening the quality and impact of submissions and presentations

Eligibility Criteria
