KatipAta Turkish Language & Culture Program – Fully Funded for Public Officials & Academics
The KatipAta Program, initiated by Türkiye’s Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), offers a rich, fully funded immersion in Turkish language (A2 to B2) and culture for public officials, diplomats, academics, and researchers from Turkic countries and beyond. Participants engage in language training, seminars, cultural excursions, institutional visits, and professional development programs.
Program Highlights
- Language Skills: Intensive instruction leading from A2 to B2 level proficiency.
- Cultural Immersion: Includes seminars, cultural tours across Turkey, workshops on Turkish arts, and visits to universities, think tanks, and governmental bodies.

Eligibility & Application Details
- Open to current public officials, diplomats, academics, and researchers (preferably with postgraduate degrees) from eligible countries.
- Applicants must be under 40 and proficient in English (minimum B2 level).
- Applicants should not reside in Türkiye nor be active beneficiaries of other Turkish scholarship programs.
- Typically offered for 8–12 months, running November to July.
- Deadline: Around mid-August 2025 (e.g., August 15) for the 2025–2026 term.
