KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp (MEWC) 2026 — Fully Funded 6-Week Research Internship
The KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp (MEWC) is an intensive, fully funded 6-week research internship hosted by the CEMSE Division at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Held on the KAUST Campus, MEWC 2026 will run from January 12 to February 19, 2026. The application deadline is October 23, 2025.
What to Expect
- Hands-on research projects in microelectronics, mentored by leading KAUST faculty
- Technical workshops on integrated circuits (ICs), inkjet printing, 3D printing, self-assembly, and more
- Prototype design—develop and build your own gadget based on your project
- E-poster training and an e-poster competition at program’s conclusion
- Social activities to build community and networking opportunities

Who Should Apply?
Eligible candidates include:
- Senior undergraduate students, recent graduates, or current master’s students
- Fields: Electrical & Computer Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent
- Strong English proficiency
- Demonstrated motivation for research in microelectronics
