  • Although unpaid, the position includes board and lodging at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg, and a return travel ticket to the intern’s country of origin.
  • Internship periods typically start in early February, early September, or late September, depending on organizational scheduling.

 Internship Duties & Responsibilities

As a Library Intern, you will be the point of contact for Salzburg Global’s private collection and archives. Typical tasks include:

  • Archiving and cataloguing documents, especially converting digital documents into usable formats.
  • Managing the periodicals and private library collection, including cataloguing, shelving, organizing.
  • Supporting program-staff in sessions: preparing materials, research on participants, technical/administrative tasks.
  • Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and working across culturally and professionally diverse teams.
