The 5th ASEAN Youth Dialogue 2026 and Interface with ASEAN Leaders is now open for applications, offering young leaders a unique opportunity to engage directly with policymakers and regional leaders during the ASEAN Summit.

Hosted by the National Youth Commission Philippines, the program will take place in Manila, Philippines, from May 5 to 10, 2026, bringing together youth delegates to discuss key regional issues and represent youth voices at the ASEAN level.

The ASEAN Youth Dialogue serves as a platform for youth to contribute to regional policymaking and collaborate on solutions for Southeast Asia’s most pressing challenges.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet strict eligibility requirements.

• Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines
• Age between 18 and 30 years
• Single status
• Strong English communication skills
• Valid passport (until December 10, 2026)
• COVID-19 vaccination with at least one booster
• Ability to travel and attend the full program

Preferred Background

Candidates with the following backgrounds are highly encouraged.

• Students (university, college, or vocational institutions)
• Entrepreneurs or social entrepreneurs
• Young professionals (government, private sector, NGOs)
• Individuals with interest in:
  • Peace and security
  • Economy and development
  • ICT and digital transformation
  • Sustainable and inclusive development
• Experience in volunteerism or youth advocacy is an advantage

What the Program Covers

Selected participants will receive partial financial support.

• Accommodation during the program

• Transportation reimbursement (up to PHP 15,000)

Disqualification Criteria

Applicants will be disqualified if:

• Previously joined NYC international programs with full funding (recent years)
• Failed to complete post-program obligations
• Submitted incomplete applications
• Submitted multiple applications
