Nigeria Green Academy 2026 in Nigeria

Applications are now open for the Nigeria Green Academy 2026, a fully funded leadership and capacity-building program organized by the Heinrich Böll Stiftung (hbs) Abuja Office. The academy is designed for young Nigerians who are actively working to create positive social, political, economic, and environmental change in their communities.

The five-day residential program will bring together a diverse group of civil society activists, journalists, academic scholars, artists, and social entrepreneurs to strengthen their knowledge, advocacy skills, professional networks, and leadership capacity while addressing some of Nigeria’s most pressing governance and development challenges.

  • Demonstrate passion, resilience, innovation, and commitment to societal change
  • Show interest in contributing to Nigeria’s social, economic, political, or environmental development.
