The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program 2027 at Stanford University is one of the world’s most prestigious fully funded graduate scholarship programs. Before applying, candidates are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility rules, admission structure, and selection expectations.
To be eligible, applicants must apply separately and be accepted into a full-time Stanford graduate degree program (such as MBA, MA, MS, PhD, JD, or MD). In addition, applicants must meet the academic requirement of having completed their first bachelor’s degree in January 2020 or later for the 2027 cohort.
Beyond eligibility, Knight-Hennessy looks for individuals who demonstrate three core qualities:
There are no restrictions on age, nationality, or field of study, making it a highly global and multidisciplinary opportunity. However, admission is highly competitive and requires strong academic records, leadership experience, and a clear sense of purpose.
Applicants are also advised to carefully reflect on their goals, motivation, and readiness before starting the application process, as the selection committee values authenticity and long-term vision.
The application for the 2027 cohort opens on June 1, 2026.
