Applications are now open for the MARIHE Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Programme 2027 (Master in Research and Innovation in Higher Education), one of the world’s leading international master’s degrees in higher education, research, and innovation. Funded by the Erasmus Mundus Programme of the European Union, MARIHE offers talented students the opportunity to study across multiple countries in Europe and Asia while receiving a fully funded Erasmus Mundus Scholarship.

Programme Structure

The MARIHE programme consists of four semesters:

Semester 1 – Austria

Semester 2 – Finland

The second semester focuses on innovation, financial management, teaching and learning, and international higher education.

Semester 3

Students complete:

  • An international internship (minimum eight weeks)
  • One of several specialization tracks in Europe or Asia

Semester 4

Students complete their master’s thesis under the supervision of consortium faculty members.
