ISFiT 2027 in Norway | Fully Funded International Student Festival

Applications are now open for the International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT) 2027, the world’s largest international student festival, taking place in Trondheim, Norway, from 11–21 February 2027. Organized by students for students, ISFiT brings together 350 participants from around the globe for ten days of dialogue, leadership, cultural exchange, workshops, debates, and artistic experiences centered on today’s most pressing global issues.

The theme for ISFiT 2027 is “Changing Winds,” inviting participants to reflect on a rapidly changing world shaped by political transformation, climate challenges, technological developments, and evolving global realities. Through meaningful conversations and collaborative learning, participants will explore how young people can contribute to a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable future.

What is ISFiT?

Founded in 1990, ISFiT is a biennial international student festival organized entirely by volunteers in Trondheim, Norway. Every two years, students from across the world gather to discuss global challenges while participating in:
