Falling Walls is a unique international platform for leaders from the worlds of science, business, politics, the arts, and society. Furthermore, It was initiated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. Inspired by this world-changing event the question of every Falling Walls gathering is: Which walls will fall next? Falling Walls fosters discussion on research and innovation and promotes the latest scientific findings. Also, The scientific findings are among a broad audience from all parts of society. Additionally, this year the Falling Walls Foundation is offering two types of Fellowship in Berlin for science journalists:

• The Falling Walls Science Fellowship in Berlin for journalists and
• the Berlin Science Week Fellowship, to attend all Falling Walls events on 8 and 9 November

Moreover, the Fellows will get the opportunity to attend all Falling Walls events on 8 and 9 November If they are accepted in the Falling Walls Science Fellowship. The fellows will be able to attend events of the fourth Berlin Science Week as well as the program of the Falling Walls Conference. Further, If accepted in the Berlin Science Week. Further, This program includes a guided tour to selected scientific institutions in Berlin and participation in the Berlin Science Award ceremony on 7 November.

Falling Walls Science Fellowship for Journalists

The fellowship includes:

• travel expenses (economy class).
• hotel accommodation for 3 nights.
• conference fees and meals (breakfast at the hotel, catering during the Falling Walls events).

Berlin Science Week

The fellowship includes:

• hotel accommodation for 4 nights (including breakfast).
• free tickets to the Falling Walls events on 8/9 November.
• free meals during the events and participation at the Berlin Science Week.

Falling Walls Science Fellowship for Journalists

• Freelance and full-time journalists or bloggers who hope to advance their knowledge in the area of sciences.
• Applicants must have a minimum of three years of professional journalism/ Also, blogging experience in which they have written about the science topics.

Note: Professionals in fields such as research, teaching, public relations, and advertising are not eligible.
