Roles and responsibilities 

The successful appointee will have to perform the following duties

• Deliver academic module in relation with community development.
• Serve platforms for students to engage in numerous researches inclined to social issues and problems prevailing in Singapore.
• Offer mentorship and advice to students to work on the awareness and eradication of social issues and hazardous customs.
• Be a part of various academic events like annual symposium, graduation, information sessions, orientation, etc.
• Assist in the production of the Centre’s collaterals, such as research handouts, posters, etc.  Similarly, assist with managing existing partnerships with various social service organizations in Singapore, and developing new organizational partnerships.

Required qualifications and skills

• Advanced university degree in Social Science, Humanities and other related fields.
• In addition to that, working experience as a teacher in the relevant field.
• Following, Strong communication skills (verbal as well as written).
• In addition to that, enthusiasm for community development and supervising, advising and mentoring students.
