About position

The company is seeking a well qualified and dynamic Engineering Technician to join the Manufacturing and Engineering Team. Basically, the team operates to introduce new ways to make better-performing products faster and more efficiently. They navigate the complex geopolitical world with multiple supply chains and diverse ecosystems while keeping their focus on manufacturing, materials, sustainability and creating quality products.

In particular, the incumbent will perform the following duties

• Assist the team in developing and testing new products and processes.
• Work in a manufacturing environment to execute routine product testing based on Nike standard test methods.
• Create samples for analysis based on Nike standard manufacturing process. Similarly, maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing lab equipment whenever necessary.
• Analyze data and report any potential product integrity issues.
• Work closely with other technicians, Quality and Manufacturing teams to identify the root cause and implement corrective actions as needed. Also, provide technical support for Tier 1 factories.
• Furthermore, complete work with little supervision in a timely manner. Additionally, be a self-starter, as well as able to work with ambiguity.

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated communication skills in English and Vietnamese (Speaking as well as writing).
• Strong interpersonal as well as organizational skills.
• Works well within a collaborative team environment.
