Position: Associate Professor of Human Rights and Law

About position
Australian Catholic University is seeking research-focused Associate Professor of Law and Human Rights for Thomas More Law School.
In particular, the candidate will do the following duties
- Provide leadership and promote research excellence in Human Rights Research Network.
- Contribute to research intensification strategy through leadership and high-quality research publications. Similarly, strengthing the research development by attracting research funding, and HDR completions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key research stakeholders within the School, the university, and across the sector.
- Be a part of ERA strategy and success as well as the development of Research Impact and Engagement Strategy.
- Undertaking responsibilities to deliver course contents from the subjects of human rights and law. Similarly, help and collaborate with students on different occasion as a part of learning strategy and course requirements.
- Furthermore, complete other tasks assigned by the Department or administration.
Requirements
- Ph.d. and LLB or equivalent. In addition to that, previous experience in delivering high-quality teaching action that hat encourages critical thinking and innovative approaches by students.
- Similarly, a record organizing standard researches and publishing high-quality journals.
- An ability to build research capacity, productive research collaborations and lead a research team.
- Must have an established international research profile and an outstanding research record as demonstrated by publications in high-quality journals.
- Similarly, the capacity to attract category one research funding, and successful higher degree supervision
