About role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking highly qualified and dynamic Proposal Writer with years of experience. In general, the incumbent will assist the IRC USP offices in its proposal development for federal pass-through funding. Duties and responsibilities include in but not limited to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)/Welfare to Work, Community Development Block Grant, and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment & Training (SNAP E&T) opportunities.

Key duties

In particular, the incumbent will perform the following duties

• Develop proposal schedules and outlines together with IRC US programs office staff. Similarly, develop grant proposal narrative components.
• Edit and incorporate the input of other team members (including HQ development staff) into the proposals
• Contribute to the development of the budgets of the proposal as well as deliver quality products against a tight schedule.
• Furthermore, perform other tasks if necessary.

Requirements

In order to be eligible for this Proposal Writing Jobs at International Rescue Committee, candidates must have the following qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of grant writing experience.
• Record of developing successful grant proposals to governmental agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Similarly, strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Familiarity and strong knowledge of Microsoft packages
