Position: Clinical Professor of Social and Administrative Sciences under the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Key duties
In particular, the incumbent will be liable for the following functions
- Create a hybrid Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs program.
- Assist with the offering of a Master in Science in Patient Safety Program Administration.
- Staff the program with highly qualified faculty and staff.
- Likewise, develop and implement policies and procedures that are aligned with accreditation and association standards, guidelines and educational outcomes.
- Participate with the Curriculum Committee to receive approval of all courses and program. Also, assist in the development and maintenance of didactic course syllabi.
- Align efforts with Graduates Admissions Department to create criteria for minimally acceptable standards for students applying for admission to the program.
- Participate in teaching as appropriate to faculty appointment and area(s) of expertise.
- Mentor and advise formally and informally graduate students, Doctor of Pharmacy students and faculty or staff with interests or engagement with industry opportunities and these new Masters Programs.
- Similarly, participate in scholarship and research and provide opportunities in these areas for students and faculty within Regulatory Affairs and in industry relationships CUSP establishes. Similarly, follow all standard Chapman University Handbook guidelines.
- Furthermore, collaborate with the Dean and graduate program administration on tuition, fees for these programs.
Requirements
In order to be fit for the position, the candidates must have the following qualifications
- PharmD, Ph.D. or masters with pharmacy practice experience.
- Record of accomplishment in scholarship, teaching and/or service eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work effectively with campus and external constituents.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective and constructive collaborative relationships with faculty and administration. Similarly, ability to handle multiple priorities; excellent organizational skills.
- Furthermore, confident to work independently and as an effective team member.
