Position: Lecturer in Integrated Business

Job summary

The Position holder will join the College of Business Administration’s (CBA) undergraduate Business Research for Decision Making course. As part of the CBA core curriculum, the Business Research for Decision Making course will be taught in a large section using a blended learning format that incorporates online and face-to-face instruction in smaller (though still sizeable) sections. The face-to-face sections employ team-based active learning classroom experiences scheduled five times throughout the semester. This part of the assignment equates to a 6-hour teaching assignment. In addition, the selected applicant will have to teach at least one of the required classes in the Integrated Business program

Requirements

  • A terminal degree from an accredited institution in business or a discipline closely related to coursework in the IB program. However, ABD candidates are also eligible but must have a degree in hand by start date.
  • Academic credentials and/or professional experience sufficient to qualify the candidate to teach an undergraduate business research course and at least one of the required IB classes. One year of full-time experience as a college instructor or the equivalent in part-time experience.
  • Candidates should clearly describe how their qualifications meet or exceed these minimums in their CV and cover letter.
