Position Title: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer In Chiropractic Techniques under the Department of Chiropractic
Key duties
- Contribute to uplift the excellence in teaching and learning. Similarly, continually make a high-quality contribution to the research and scholarly activities of the department
- Support the department’s research program through attracting funding from diverse funding sources, aiming for nationally competitive funding sources
- Proactively build research collaborations, both internal and external to the department, with other academics and with industry
- Furthermore, assists in the full range of departmental activities. However, might also need to perform some administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in a health-related discipline. In addition to that, one must be a registered chiropractor with the Chiropractic Board of Australia, or eligible for registration.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and innovation including program design, administration, and delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- A strong track record of delivering high-quality learning and teaching, involving the design, delivery, and management of lectures, tutorials, and assessments at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Similarly, a strong track record of high-impact publications in journals in the area of musculoskeletal health.
- Evidence of being a productive member of a research team, including the demonstrated capacity for external research collaboration, and demonstrated ability to attract competitive research funding.
- Capacity to attract and supervise Higher Degree Research students.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to relate to staff and students from all backgrounds and to represent the Department and Faculty to external stakeholders and the general public.
