Emory University is a private research university in Atlanta, in the U.S. state of Georgia. The university was founded as Emory College in 1836 in Oxford, Georgia, by the Methodist Episcopal Church and was named in honor of Methodist bishop John Emory.
Since then, this college has been one of the best research universities in the United States. In fact, it ranks in the 21st position in the 2019 edition of Best Colleges. Likewise, Emory offers more than 70 different fields of studies at the undergraduate level.

If you think you may be HOPE eligible, apply by completing the current-year FAFSA each year you want to be considered for federal and state aid.
If you wish to receive the HOPE scholarship only, you may complete the state application, the GSFAPP, at www.gafutures.org and submit the Georgia Hope Scholarship/GTEG Supplemental Residency Form to the Financial Aid Office.
Please complete all sections of the form and submit the documents requested on the form. Once these documents are approved, they will satisfy the application requirements for state aid as long as you attend Emory.
