Position: Program Coordinator Academic Planning
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and work closely across academic units to coordinate curriculum-related deliverables.
- Ensure curriculum proposals are submitted on time in accordance with catalog processing and activation deadlines, reflecting accurate and complete modality information.
- Audit new and revised curriculum changes to identify and remedy any negative impacts on students and systems.
- Similarly, review AUCC documentation to ensure new and revised curriculum items are addressed at monthly governance meetings in a timely manner, and accurately reflect the intentions of the Academic Units
- Ensure compliance with the academic governance process.
- Assist with the planning and logistics of program and accreditation projects including a selection of subject matter experts, facilities and hospitality, general administrative support as well as notification/dissemination of information to appropriate audiences.
- Assist team with the planning and creation of reports and other essential team communications. Similarly, assist with managing the knowledge base for programs and accreditation initiatives.
- Attendance, punctuality, reliability and onsite presence are essential functions of this role.
- Furthermore, other duties, responsibilities or activities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years related experience, additional experience considered in lieu of degree requirements. In addition to that, project management experience preferred.
- Experience with developing working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations.
- Also, s/he must possess the ability to manage multiple assignments with quality, accuracy, and speed.
- Must be proficient in PC software packages, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
