Position: Doctoral Researcher In Safety For Autonomous Mobile Machines (DSII)

Responsibilities

The Doctoral School of Industry Innovations (DSII) at Tampere University (TAU) invites applicants for the position of Doctoral Researcher In Safety For Autonomous Mobile Machines (DSII). Basically, the position holder will undertake dissertation research, gain a thorough understanding of product development, tackle real-world business challenges and expand their professional networks. A Doctoral Researcher will conduct the research on the topics mentioned above, narrow down the research questions, and formulate and address relevant goals by discussing with the industrial partner and their customers on specific needs and requirements and collaborate with the research team in both sides, and contribute to the relevant standard.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

•  Higher university degree in Computer Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Embedded Systems or a related discipline in science or engineering.
• In addition to that, enquiring mind, enjoy problem-solving and be able to think independently as well as must be able to work in a team.
• Good command of English, both in writing and in oral presentations, is required.
