Position: Adjunct Faculty – School of Health Sciences, MSCD Program

Responsibilities 

The Master of Science in Communication Disorders program at Stockton University is seeking licensed, certified speech-language pathologists to serve as clinical educators for our graduate students who are completing their first on-campus clinical practicum course in the Stockton Speech and Hearing Clinic.

The successful faculty position appointee will be performing the following duties at Stockton University

• Provide direct supervision of graduate students in the MSCD program at Stockton University who treat clients in the Speech and Hearing Clinic
• Assist in the development and implementation of plans of care for clients in the Speech and Hearing Clinic.
• Following, maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws for all documentation and communications relative to the Speech and Hearing Clinic.
• Complete professional development in areas of speech, language, and communication to maintain certification and licensure.
• Furthermore, other duties as assigned by the Director of the Speech and Hearing Clinic, the Dean of the School of Health Sciences, and/or the Provost and Executive Vice President.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following duties in particular

• Master’s Degree in the related field. In addition to that, clinical experience across the lifespan with a variety of communication disorders.
• Similarly, experience as a clinical educator in professional practice.
• NJ licensure and ASHA certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP).
