The University of California, Irvine invites energetic and qualified Vascular Surgeon to join the Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Moreover, the Department has a commitment on academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. The department seeks to hire a fellowship-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon with a focus on research and clinical care in the area of advanced endovascular and open vascular surgery.

The successful candidate will have to provide patient care. In addition to that, s/he will participate in research programs, excel in teaching clinical programs to fellows, residents, and medical students. The position will also demonstrate professional competence and activity and furthermore will perform the University and public service.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for Vascular Surgeon Vacancy at University of California, Irvine

• Adequate academic as well as clinical qualifications to practice Vascular Surgery.
• California Medical license and board certification or eligibility in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery as well as California Fluoroscopy license.
• Successful completion or anticipated completion of 0+5 or 5+2 fellowship program in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
• Furthermore, the ideal candidate must have demonstrated excellence in research, clinical care of patients, as well as an excellent record of accomplishment of publication and teaching.
