Key responsibilities

The incumbent will perform the following functions

• Teaching undergraduate Construction Management courses.
• Performing scholarly research. Similarly, performing outreach to program stakeholders.
• Furthermore, doing administrative service to the department, College, and the University if necessary.

Required Qualifications

Basically, the incumbent must hold the terminal qualification in their discipline (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., MFA, etc.) to be Assistant Professor. In addition to that, they should demonstrate the ability, through appropriate experience, to perform the functions of the position they are to hold.

• Terminal qualification in their discipline (e.g., Ph.D., M.Arch., MBA, etc.).
• Ability to teach undergraduate Construction Management courses. Similarly, the ability to conduct independent scholarly research.
• Furthermore, excellent communication skills.

Desired Qualifications 

• Ph.D. in Construction Management.
• Teaching experience in an undergraduate Construction Management program.
• Professional licensure as well as construction industry experience.
