Plan International Philippines has a vacancy opening for the Social Protection Specialist in Makati City. The highly competent, experienced and committed incumbent will be performing the following duties
- Providing technical support and guidance to Plan project staff and consortium partners as well as providing capacity building for relevant stakeholders.
- Developing activity design outlines for the Social Protection activities.
- Conducting technical visit in the project areas and also identify needs and gaps of project staff and provide appropriate technical support.
- Implementing development education strategies to raise the awareness of the public and relevant bodies about PLAN and to secure their active involvement in the causes of the project.
- Managing the differing and competing needs of the stakeholders to maintain value-added relationships.
- Furthermore, the position will have frequent travel to project sites.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have
- University degree in Social Work, Community Development, or Other related courses.
- Minimum of five years of experience in community development and governance programs. In addition to that, dept knowledge of social protection programs in the Philippines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong competency in critical thinking, result-oriented, and communication skills. Similarly, the ability to prioritize and manage a complex and varied workload, often to tight deadlines.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in the Philippines. Moreover, local applicants preferred.
