The Rotary International invites prominent and dynamic development engineers to apply for the vacancy in the Application Development Section in India. The incumbent will submit a report to the Manager of Application Development, IT Delivery.

Key Duties 

The incumbent will be

• Design and maintain a corporate line of business .NET applications.
• Providing inputs deciding application architecture as well as deriving design from Use Cases and UI Mockups.
• Impacting analysis, development, unit testing, code review, deployment, bug/ defect fixing.
• Working with frontend frameworks/ libraries such as Angular, React, or Node.js. Similarly, will be working with CSS/LESS/SASS.
• Providing good system documentation, such as data models, software architecture and Use Case realizations.
• Escalate any delays in Critical and Urgent project deliveries to the stakeholders.
• Following the Agile process as recommended for the project as well as giving presentations on technical and non-technical topics.
• Furthermore, taking ownership and responsibility of on-time delivery of high-quality systems.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following qualification to be eligible for this vacancy of Development Engineer in Rotary International in India

• University degree in Computer Science or related.
• In addition to that, five years of practical .NET design and development experience
• Similarly, practical experience working with a major RDMS such as SQL.
• Good understanding of .NET and unit test framework as well as an understanding of the SOLID principle.
• Also, understanding of code versioning tools i.e. Bitbucket.
• Should have experience working with frontend frameworks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and is self-directed and works effectively under pressure. Similarly, the ability to mentor other team members
• Strong analytical skills and be able to diagnose complex problems.
• Furthermore, s/he must be able to help in analyzing performance issues of current systems or products.
