Vacancy at La Roche UniversityThe La Roche University invites highly qualified and experienced Nursing Practitioner to join the Department of Nursing at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The Assistant or Associate Professor will teach courses from Fall Semester 2020 at La Roche’s main campus in the North Hills neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities 

The Assistant or Associate Professor will be performing the following tasks

• Principle faculty lead of the MSN Administrative track program; coordinating all facets of the specialization including learning experiences, progress, and goals.
• Developing new nursing and related curriculum as well as assisting in the evaluation of current courses and programs.
• Also, engaging in the recruitment of new students and retention/program completion activities for enrolled students.
• Fully committing to program attributes including teaching excellence, curriculum objectives, and student success.
• Participating in and contributing to the evaluation of all courses/programs in a systematic way.
• Similarly, participating in accreditation activities, appropriate committees, and other related University initiatives.
• Following established practices and/or create additional assessment tools.
• Giving advice nursing students regarding progress, the course selection, and career goals; focus attention on those in the MSN Administrative track program.
• Furthermore, teaching online courses in the RN to BSN/MSN and MSN programs.

Requirements 

Candidates with the following qualifications can apply for this vacancy of Nursing Professor at La Roche University

• A doctoral qualification in Nursing as well as a current Pennsylvania RN license.
• In addition to that, five years of health care administration or leadership experience.
• Experience with online teaching methodologies and also the experience at the graduate level.
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills.
• Furthermore, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
