Application calls for Chromatic Photo Awards 2020

Summary

Chromatica Awards are the international competition of color photography open to both professionals and amateurs. Participation in the Chromatic Awards offers not only prestige but also the opportunity to win extra money for the development of passion. The aim of Chromatic Photo Awards is to provide artists the opportunity to share their passion and stories through their photographs, promote the world’s top photographers, and discover new, emerging talents. This competition is open to every professional and amateur photographer from every corner of the world.

Categories 

The competition is dedicated to color photography where 20 categories will be adjudicated by an international jury composed of magazine editors, gallery curators, professional agents, and other industry professionals. The Categories are Abstract; Architecture; Cityscapes; Conceptual; Culture; Environmental; Fashion and Beauty; Fine Art; Landscapes; Nature; Nudes; People; Photojournalism; Photomanipulation; Portrait; Sports; Still Life; Street; Travel; Wildlife and Animals

Image Criteria 

• images prepared for uploading must be 1200 pixels wide (longest side),
• JPEG format (*.jpg or *.jpeg),
• sRGB or Adobe98 colour space, 8-bit,
• saved at maximum quality,
• must not include watermarks, borders* or signatures on your images (or your entry will be disqualified).

(except for Polaroids and other traditional process photos where the border is an inherent part of the image)

Awards and Prizes 

The international range of the competition and the prestige the winners receive will not only enrich the portfolio but also stand out in the art world and the media. The winning entries awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals for each category will be presented both in the Gallery of Winners and the Official Book of Chromatic Awards. The photographers will also receive the right to use the winner badge and certificate.
Other than that, the winner among the professionals will receive $2,000 and the winner of the amateur category will get $1,000 as monetary awards on top of the media and magazine mileage mentioned above.
