Applications call for Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarships 2020 in Germany. The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Scholarship is the opportunity for international students to study and do research in Germany.

Summary

The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung program awards scholarship to international students of the MENA region to study at one of the over 400 universities and do research in Germany. Moreover, this scholarship is for international students and graduates who have a university degree and who intend to complete postgraduate or master studies, doctoral studies or a research fellowship of at least three semesters at a university in Germany.

Benefits and Funding

The standard funding periods are two years (Master) respectively three years (Ph.D.). The scholarship awards Master students 850 Euro per month and 1.200 Euro per month Ph.D. students. In addition to that, the successful recipient of the scholarship is the opportunity to access a worldwide network of over 14.000 alumni, a broad seminar program and personal mentoring.

Eligibilities 

• Candidates must have a university degree and should prove above-average academic performance.
• The age of the candidates must not be older than 30 when applying.
• Good knowledge of the German language (B1* or B2 level) is mandatory.
• Candidates must have a history of active engagement in voluntary work.
• The candidate must be willing to study a minimum of three semesters at a university in Germany.
• The candidate must possess a broad general education and a distinct interest in political issues and also should have a positive attitude towards democracy and human rights.
• Also, the applicant should be open to developing their personal points of view and practice tolerance.
• Furthermore, they are highly motivated and able to convince us of their goals in life.
