Responsibilities
The incumbent will do the following duties
- Rapidly build knowledge of accreditation requirements among all engineering and science staff.
- Additionally, Be Executive Officer of Unitech’s Engineering Accreditation Working Group (EAWG).
- Manage the University’s Accreditation Plan and inform colleagues about any of its impending KPIs.
- Also, work with the Dean of Engineering and the External Accreditation Advisor to secure necessary documentation for accreditation.
- Conduct training classes and workshops for accreditation.
- Likewise, Liaise with the university’s Industrial Liaison Manager and ensure industrial training requirements for accreditation are met.
- Additionally, Assist Engineering departments in informing their Departmental Industrial Advisory Committees.
- Also, Assist the Dean of Engineering as he or she might direct from time to time.
Qualifications
The candidate should meet the given criteria for the Vacancy for Accreditation Manager at PNG University of Technology
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Science.
- Additionally, Familiarity with engineering curricula, with accrediting bodies and with the Washington Accord
- Similarly, Experience in Project Management.
- Also, at least 4 years’ experience in relevant positions in academia and in industry.
- Ability to work as a team member with academics, technical officers and industrialists.
- Furthermore, outstanding communication and public relations capabilities.
- Moreover, a high standard of moral integrity.
Salary
- Base Salary Range: PGK60, 453.00 – PGK73, 888.00 per annum
- Likewise, International Market Allowance (IMA) Range: PGK76, 200.00 – PGK92, 729.00 per annum
- Additional conditions are included with the Offer of Contract.
