The University of Arizona calls applications for Global Wildcat Award Scholarships for entering freshmen for students enrolling in the spring semester.
The University of Arizona is a public research university in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1885, the UA was the first university in the Arizona Territory. As of 2018, the university enrolls 45,217 students in 19 separate colleges/schools, including the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson and Phoenix and the James E. Rogers College of Law, and has two academic medical centers. Also, the University of Arizona is governed by the Arizona Board of Regents. Furthermore, the University of Arizona is one of the elected members of the Association of American Universities and is the only representative from the state of Arizona to this group.
The Global Wildcat Award Scholarships at the University of Arizona in the United States covers 2,000 – $20,000; amounts for continuing students will remain the same as the initial offer. Altogether, scholarships are renewable for 4 years (8 consecutive semesters) for freshmen. In addition to that, the award levels reflect the full academic year (two semesters) value of the award; half will be awarded in the spring and half in the fall.
