General Requirements
- Excellent physical condition

- University education in political sciences, international relations, public policy, law, international human rights law or other human rights related fields
- Additionally, experience working with human rights, minority or gender issues
- Also, demonstrable organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Likewise, experience in drafting reports
Education:
Second-level university education/certified training course in a relevant field desirable
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of relevant, diversified and progressively responsible professional experience including at least 3 years at the management level relevant to the actual position
Mandatory Requirements
- Second-level university degree in law, human rights, political science, international relations, public policy, or equivalent;
- Additionally, minimum 6 years of relevant, diversified and progressively responsible professional experience including at least 3 years at the management level relevant to the actual position;
- Also, experience in human rights program development and political analysis, including the production of reports, verbal and written briefings;
- Likewise, demonstrable organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Detailed understanding of both the human rights situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in particular its institutions and bodies (at all levels of government), and the overall political situation;
- Additionally, understanding of the work of the OSCE Mission in the human dimension;
- Professional fluency in the English language, both oral and written;
- Ability and willingness to work as a team member and with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds and diverse political views while maintaining impartiality and objectivity with tact and diplomacy in dealing with both external persons and multinational staff;
- Furthermore, excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and process large amounts of information.
