McKinsey & Company calls application for Next Generation Women Leaders Asia-Pacific Program.

The Next Generation Women Leaders Asia-Pacific event is a two-day virtual workshop that explores the importance of women in leadership. Event attendees will work with facilitators to further shape their leadership style, helping them become trailblazers in their personal and professional lives. They will walk away with an understanding of the McKinsey problem-solving approach, which they can use in school, work, and life. As attendees explore the world of consulting; they will create genuine connections with peers as well as McKinsey colleagues and alumni.

Target Audience

The McKinsey & are looking to get to know women who:

• Have an outstanding record of academic and/or professional achievements
• Have a proven record of leadership in an academic and/or professional setting
• Thrive when working with other people
• Actively seek ways to maximize their own potential
• Enjoy problem-solving and creative thinking.
• Want to use their talents to make positive changes in their lives and their communities.

Eligibilities

• Currently based in the Asia-Pacific region or interested in pursuing a career in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Students graduating no later than in 2021 or professionals with fewer than seven years of work experience.

Application Materials

• Resume in English, which should include details of your education and grades, work experience, and extracurricular activities and achievements.
• A cover letter (optional), one-page maximum, in English, should include an experience where you demonstrated leadership and fostered effective teamwork with a diverse group of people. This diversity could include people with different areas of expertise, background, education, culture or nationalities, ethnicity, gender, orientations, personalities, or work preference.

Next Generation Women Leadership 

The first Next-Generation Women Leaders (NGWL) event took place in Paris in 2012. The event brought together individuals who self-identify as female from across Europe and the Middle East who enjoyed three days of inspirational workshops, discussions, and networking. During NGWL events attendees explore the importance of women in leadership and refine their own leadership skills. Over the years the program has run additional initiatives to further support women’s leadership under the NGWL umbrella including events in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.
