The Asia-Pacific Medical Students’ Symposium (APMSS)
Venue: National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan
Program Date: February 12 to 18, 2017
Brace yourself for a week-long adventure loaded with lectures from prominent speakers, courses designed to enhance your career in medicine, discussions with peers from all over the world, and much more! The Asia-Pacific Medical Students’ Symposium (APMSS) will be hosted by College of Medicine, National Taiwan University from February 12 to 18, 2017.
During the Symposium, we invite you to open your minds to take in notions that are not necessarily offbeat but definitely novel. Research on neuroscience, palliative care, biomedical technology, public health and many other sub-topics are among the various fields that may ignite new sparks on your medical journey. We hope that each participant eventually reaps the wisdom and knowledge obtained from these “extraordinary” fields and incorporate the abilities into our “ordinary” routines.
Mission
In the modern age where technology is evolving faster than ever and the face of healthcare is ever changing, aspiring healthcare professionals are encouraged to explore as many fields as possible and recognize the multifaceted nature of healthcare. APMSS aims not only to develop medical students into scientifically informed and socially responsible aspiring healthcare professionals, but also provides an opportunity for medical students from all over the world to connect and exchange ideas.
