Applications call for the Ashurst Emerging Artist Prizes 2021. ​Tthe Ashurst Emerging Artist Prizes 2021 will be awarded to artists that show significant potential, interesting ideas, a relevant message and skillful execution.

Basically, Ashurst’s aim in sponsoring the Emerging Artist Prize and Emerging Artist Programme is to find, build and support the careers of talented international emerging artists and get their art seen by a wider audience. They understand that talented artists exist in many forms, so endeavour to appeal to emerging artists of all ages and career paths, whether student, graduate, full-time or part-time, and from any country.

Awards 

The Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize Overall Award

• £3,500 of prizes, comprising £3,000 cash prize award, and £500 Cass Art voucher
• Exhibition of a collection of your artworks in the Ashurst Emerging Artists Gallery for Sep-Dec 2021

The Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize Sculpture Award

• £2,000 of prizes, comprising £1,750 cash prize award, and £250 Cass Art voucher
• Exhibition of a collection of your artworks in the Ashurst London HQ for Sep-Dec 2021

The Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize Photography Award

• £2,000 of prizes, comprising £1,500 voucher with Genesis Imaging and £500 cash prize award
• Exhibition of a collection of your photographs in the Ashurst London HQ for Sep-Dec 2021

The Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize New Media Art Award

• £1,500 cash prize award
• Exhibition of a collection of your artworks in the Rich Mix Mezzanine Gallery for late 2021

The Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize Choice Award

• £1,500 of prizes, comprising £1,250 cash prize award, and £250 Cass Art voucher
• Exhibition of a collection of your artworks in the Ashurst London HQ for Sep-Dec 2021

Details 

• There is no restriction on the artist regarding age, training or nationality. Moreover, you may enter from any country, and can be based in any country.
• All types of art are accepted for this competition.
• The artist must not have exclusive representation, to enter this art competition.
• Artwork size must be less than 275cm x 275cm x 50cm for artworks to be hung on the wall, and less than 275cm x 275cm x 200cm for sculptures. If you are unsure, please contact us.
• Image files should ideally by at least 2000 x 2000 pixels in size (we don’t look at dpi) , and the file size should be under 20Mb.
• Once you have completed the online entry form, you will be sent to the payment page to pay the entry fee. Please select the correct payment option and enter your name in the notes.
• Entry Fee is £20 for first artwork, then £10 per additional artwork, up to a maximum 5 artworks. You can also pay in US Dollars and Euros too. If you wish to pay in any other currency, please contact us.
• To also be considered for the New Media Artist Prize, you must clearly specify details of your medium and submit a still image that represents the artwork, and can submit a WeTransfer link to download the sound or video file, or Vimeo, YouTube or website page.
