The college enrolls nearly 25,000 students annually at its seven instructional sites, with graduates serving in critical fields including health care, emergency services, business, education, hospitality, engineering, technology and more.

Required Qualifications for Enrollment Specialist Vacancy 

This position requires an associate degree and a minimum of six (6) months experience in sales, recruitment, student enrollment, banking, or related field. World-class customer service skills are essential.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a minimum hourly rate of $12.64 with an approximate annual amount of $26,300. Minimal additional compensation may be granted for education and/or experience exceeding the minimum stated job requirements.  This is at the sole discretion of Daytona State College.

Working Hours: 

 Work hours will vary between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends hours are required.

Please Note:  This position will be based at the Daytona Beach Campus.  However, responsibilities of this position will require travel for temporary assignment or possible permanent relocation to any of Daytona State campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Informs and assists students in person, over the phone, and via email with the enrollment and registration processes. This includes accessing the registration web page and assisting students with completion of forms and documents. Also, provides accurate information to the public (students, parents, staff and faculty) regarding applicable Department/College and State/Federal regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Also, collect data and produce monthly reports of student appeals. Serve as department liaison with faculty, administrators, Records Department and the Question & Answer Center.
  • Likewise, resolves registration issues that become barriers to enrollment. Processes administrative changes, reviews transcripts, request documentation, process reinstatements and withdrawals.
  • Similarly, support the department goals and objectives and perform other related tasks upon request by the supervisor.
