Details

Apply for Commission Challenge – Space for Smart Mobility. The European Commission is looking for market-oriented proposals that use both Copernicus and Galileo/EGNOS data and signals in the field of smart mobility.

The Challenge

In the European Green Deal, the European Commission set the ambitious goal of making Europe a frontrunner in environmental protection, carbon neutrality, societal resilience, and the implementation of the global Sustainable Development Goals. Mobility is one of the key areas where innovative solutions, applications, and services can foster the transformation towards a resource-efficient and environmentally friendly society.

This Commission Challenge encourages the submission of proposals using Copernicus data and Galileo/EGNOS signals that propose concrete, market-oriented solutions in the area of smart mobility, including smart solutions, applications, and services for environmental friendly mobility in urban areas, traffic management and related safety and security issues, mobile apps for citizens, and sharing solutions. These innovative solutions must demonstrate added value in the use of Copernicus and Galileo/EGNOS data and signals. The use of AI, Data Analytics, the IoT, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing as supporting technologies is recommended.
