Aged 23, Janat Naisanga is a Ugandan woman from Busoga region, Iganga district. She attended St. Patrick Kigulu Girls for her early school, joined Namirembe boarding primary school, transferring to Iganga Senior Secondary School for her O-level, then eventually to Tororo Girls school for her A-level where she concentrated on Arts particularly in history, economics, literature, and divinity. She performed well and thereafter applied for a Bachelor's Degree in Development studies at Kyambogo University and performed really well with an honors degree. She has since volunteered in various governmental and Non-governmental organizations including Municipal councils (Mbale & Iganga), World Health Organization Kololo, Kampala-Uganda, Human Rights Network (HURINET) Ntinda, Kampala -Uganda, Network of African Youth for Development (NAYD) among others. She has also attended different conferences on Structural Development Goals (SDGs), shared and participated actively and passively in different debates concerning the wellness and sustainability of the already available and unexploited natural resources, championed dialogues with the country and outside as per the need to sensitize people and agitate for more efforts to ensure continuity and conservation of the already available for not only today but also for the future.
