Joshua Alade is a youth social worker and the Community Evangelist of NextGen Africa Initiative, an education organization that builds the soft skills of disadvantaged young people with emotional intelligence, confidence building, and leadership and empowers them with ICT skills. He is also the Project Coordinator of the Nigerian Youth SDGs Network, a national coalition of youth-led/focus civil society organizations driving accountability and local advocacy for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) implementation projects.
Joshua speaks to young people and adults to help them think and handle issues they face in everyday life from academics, work, relationship, and career. Joshua likes to share stories to offer real solutions to people facing issues.
Joshua is a graduate of the University of Lagos and a certified Youth Practitioner from the Youth Intervention Program Associates, USA. He is a TEDx speaker and a sought-after education advocate. He embraces the dynamics within leadership, enjoys experiencing cultural authenticity and is spontaneously creative in making people around him feel empowered in achieving their dreams.
Still in his twenties, Joshua's presentations are genuine and inspirational. His secret is to appreciate everything life has to offer and to always make friends, read books, travel and have fun.
