Leen is a writer and journalist from Gaza with a B.A. in English-French Literature. She tells stories about reality in Gaza, Palestinian culture and herself on many well-known platforms like We Are Not Numbers website. Her first English article, Salam from Gaza, was republished by one of the most outstanding U.S. websites; arabamerica.com. Currently, she is improving her writing skills to work as a freelance journalist.
Development has always been her passion. That's why she never misses a chance of new experience in her professional life. She worked as an Event Coordinator when she was only 18, to hold a locally first-of-its-kind exhibition for Palestinian brides. Moreover, she volunteered as administrative assistant and leader in various places with different atmospheres, including the top feminist center in Gaza; CWLRCP, and Amideast. As development is the key to life for her, she is looking for a full financial aid to pursue a Master's degree in development, management or another related field.
Due to her desire to be a productive-active member in the society, she received training in Human Rights, Advocacy Skills, Social Media, Leadership, Job Skills and journalism. With her colorful interests, she is eager to build bridges for the sake of investing her knowledge and connecting with people.
