Naqita Alexander is a young medical doctor who has been internationally trained in the UK and the USA. She is currently pursuing her masters in Public Health with a focus on Global health policy and economics at the University of Edinburgh. At the age of 22, Dr. Alexander founded the Live and Inspire Foundation in South Africa aimed at promoting sustainable development, primary health care, and education in disadvantaged communities around the country. Naqita has dedicated her life to community outreach and medical relief missions to the South Pacific Islands, Madagascar, and Rwanda.
As a healthcare professional, Naqita believes in the importance and significance of the UN Sustainable development goals. Through eradicating poverty and combating hunger, she believes we can strive for good health and well-being, quality education and gender equality for all.
