Taljaard Uaputauka is a 34-year-old Otjiherero-speaking Namibian citizen by birth. He is a multi-tasking Senior Primary Teacher with a combined 12 years of teaching experience in both the private and public sector. He advocates for transformation in leadership and lives by the principles of good governance and youth empowerment. Uaputauka possesses the following transformational leadership characteristics: value-driven, believe in people, motivation, a change agent, visionary, courageous, stewardship, proactive, believe in teamwork and a life-long learner.
Uaputauka holds a Basic Education Diploma with the Windhoek College of Education (Namibia). He recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Management from the Southern Business School (South Africa). In addition, he has completed various online courses with the United Nations Public Administration Network (UNIPAN), Young African Leadership Institute (YALI) Region 2 Public Health Training Centre and United Nations Public Administration Network (UNIPAN). These entire courses had one thing in common, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Currently, Uaputauka is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management in Southern Business School (South Africa). Apart from this, he has also taken various short online courses in Human Resource Management from internationally recognized institutions.
Uaputauka is a very active youth activist. It is his dream to see all youths across the globe empowered through capacity building and entrepreneurship initiatives. Through his activism, social media presence and the nature of his profession, he managed to create a large youth base that will always turn to him for guidance and support. In Uaputauka one can find a wealth of knowledge, passion, commitment and a drive to create equal opportunities for all.
